I’m not really in the business of using this blog for plugging products/brands/businesses etc.  Most of the time because I can’t be bothered to try things out and then write about them.

However, when it comes to amazing, supremely talented friends, then that’s a different story.  I would plug them and their amazing skills until the cows came home if I could.  And anyway, if I can’t use this blog for something a bit more useful than my inane witterings, then that would be a sad, sad thing.

One of those supremely talented friends is one of my oldest friends, Beth.  We’ve known each other since the day I joined a new school at the grand old age of 7, and we were thrown together to work out the science behind the colours of Smarties (I’m guessing a lot more E numbers were involved back then than would be now).  Anyway, that means we’ve known each other for 24 years.  24 years! Mental.

A lot has happened in those intervening 24 years, but one of the best things to come out of it is Beth’s cake and desserts business.  Though only set up properly just over a year ago, it has been obvious from the get go that Beth has something pretty special when it comes to cakes.  I mean, look at these cakes!

I’m probably biased. I mean, this girl made my totally amazing wedding cake. But I don’t care.  This girl can bake and decorate better than anyone I know.  Not only do these cakes and desserts look heart stoppingly beautiful, but they also just taste amazing (my lemon, raspberry and lemon buttercream wedding cake was a dream).

So yeah, basically, amazingly talented friend, amazing cakes and desserts.  Beth is located up in Manchester, and will work across the North West and further afield if required.  So, if you have an occasion coming up where you want the most amazing, gorgeous and tasty cake or dessert table you can, then Beth is your woman. Most def.
